What are Eyelash Extensions?

If you would like longer, beautiful and natural looking lashes, then eyelash extensions are for you! Eyelash extensions are a safe and glamorous way to extend the length and thickness of your own eyelashes. Like your natural hair, these semi- permanent lashes will last through the natural life cycle of your own lashes.

Eyelash extensions come in a variety of curls, thickness, lengths and colours that can be customized to any type of eyes to achieve your desired look. Enhance your natural look and make the perfect statement with eyelash extensions.

Eyelash extensions are single synthetic or real mink lashes applied directly to the natural lash, close to the lash line with a medical grade adhesive. A single extension is applied to a single lash, leaving the eyelashes and eyelids to move freely.

Eyelash Extensions FAQ

How to prepare for a Eyelash Extensions appointment?
Always arrive with clean, makeup free eyes and lashes especially mascara. Some mascara contain oil that can prevent eyelash extensions bonding correctly. Be sure to use an oil free make-up remover if removing makeup also please do not perm or curl your lashes prior to your appointment.
How many extensions do you usually attach?
We don’t charge “per lash” but instead believe every woman deserves to have the fullest, most stunning lashes that her natural lashes will allow.
How long do they last?
Your lash extensions can last up to 6 weeks, depending on the natural growth cycle of your lashes. They will fall out along with your natural lash, when the natural lash reaches the end of its growth cycle. That’s why a few of your lash extensions may shed within the first week because the attached natural lashes are at the end of their growth cycle, and most will remain in place for approximately two months.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes approximately 2 hours to apply a full set. Touch ups are typically shorter in duration, 45 min to 1.5 hours.
How often should I get infill?
We recommend getting an infill every 2 to 4 weeks. A natural lash falls every 60 to 90 days on average due to the natural growth cycle and is replaced with the growth of a new eyelash.
How do I take care of my lash extensions?
The first 24 hours are crucial for a strong bond between the extension and your natural lash. You should keep your lashes dry and avoid touching them. After 24 hours, care is fairly simple: avoid oil based products and be gentle with your lashes.
Can I swim, shower or exercise while wearing lash extensions?
You can enjoy these lashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle. Provided you follow the simple maintenance instructions which will be given after your treatment you can swim, shower and exercise as usual after 24 hours.
Do eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes or irritate my eyes?
Not at all. Our eyelash extensions are applied individually, one by one, onto your own natural lashes with a medical grade adhesive developed exclusively for eyelash extensions. The adhesive dries very soft they will feel just like your normal lashes-you shouldn’t feel any difference. The eyelash extensions come of when your natural lash falls out do not try to remove your eyelash extensions yourself as this could easily damage your natural lashes You should also be careful not to roughly rub your eyes though as this can damage the extensions and could make them a little uncomfortable as the adhesive bond is extremely strong.
